Ola & Kuba Kochanowscy | Palace Rozalin

“I am not even sure if there are words that can properly describe Bartek and his work. Great? Brilliant? That is a massive understatement. Our wedding film is modern, deeply personal, touching, and at the same time, packed with humor — basically, a perfect reflection of exactly how May 31st felt. If you need any more convincing, he is just an incredible human being — the kind of guy who creates a completely relaxed, effortless atmosphere on your wedding day. Alpaka has this distinct, unique style visible in every single frame, yet Bartek listened to all our suggestions and requests with immense care. We are incredibly grateful because the final result blew our wildest expectations out of the water. It is a stunning, lifelong keepsake. Saying thank you simply doesn’t feel like enough.”

Ola & Kuba Kochanowscy

It is simple. If you think that a wedding of a guy who regularly brings home gold medals from world championships looks like a stiff, televised corporate gala, you are completely daydreaming. Ola and Kuba brought pure, uncompromised energy, and the script basically wrote itself.

A Burnt Dress and Snapping Sleeves: The Perfect Morning

The wedding prep kicked off at 7:00 AM when the maid of honor made a heroic, yet unfortunate attempt to iron a dress, resulting in a spectacular burn mark. Shortly after, it turned out that the engineering of Ola’s wedding gown had a few structural issues keeping up with the wedding pace – her sleeves kept snapping with the regularity of a Swiss watch, pretty much every thirty minutes. In the meantime, the guys were trading inside jokes and banter that, for the sake of everyone involved, I had to completely mute in the final edit. Yet, the vibe was miles away from stress. It was all about pure chill, massive laughs, and the absolute confidence of people who knew exactly why they were there. The worlds I would use to describe it: candid, effortless and fun.

The Gardens of Palace Rozalin and a Dance Floor on Fire

The outdoor ceremony in the gardens of Palace Rozalin was pure, natural class. Zero staging, zero forced retakes. My rule as a filmmaker never changes: the couple simply lives and celebrates on their own terms, while I look through the viewfinder, ensuring that this raw documentary meat does not go to waste. Palace Rozalin has its own incredible vibe, but it was the crew that Ola and Kuba gathered around them that set the place on fire. Once the first dances kicked off after dinner, all filters were off. The dance floor was a total warzone of fun for twelve straight hours, wrapping up only when the sun came up. Kuba Kochanowski proved that world-class athletic stamina translates seamlessly into wedding partying, and the guests matched his energy until the very end.

It Is Not the Effects That Make a Film. It Is the People.

I always tell my couples that the ultimate success of a film never relies on expensive lenses, flashy edit transitions, or flawless studio lighting. People make the story. My wedding films are 100% about PEOPLE. Ola and Kuba gave me complete creative freedom and just allowed themselves to be fully real. The result is pure, un-faked gold that no internet prosecutor could ever question – the verdict was sealed long before the edit even started. Ola, Kuba – massive thanks for this day and for letting me just hang out as a friend with a camera.
